Day OneHundredForty [5/20] 140:365

There are moments of frustration with a toddler. When you're cleaning and their definition of 'helping' is to make more of a mess. Or you're trying to get homework done and their idea of what you're doing is not paying attention to them (which is true, but they want you to know it!) or when you know it's time for them to nap but they refuse to and then once they've fallen asleep you can't get them into their bed without them waking up and continuing to be a complete monster. And then the when you are fully engaged with them and their needs it seems as though everything is perfect. And you want those moments to last forever.

I give to you parent life.
