Meal Plan - Week 17 April 30 to May 6, 2023
SUNDAY - Chalupa* - It is basically chili with pork, beans, and some chiles. We top it with sour cream, sometimes corn chips or tortilla chips, (we are trying to limit out highly processed foods. If we do get highly processed foods we look for ones made with avocado oil or olive oil and look for foods that don’t have a ton of random ingredients like artificial colors.) red onions, and hot sauce for the adults.
MONDAY - Leftovers/random odds and ends
TUESDAY - Homemade meatballs* - From Shalane Flanagan and Elyse Kopecky’s Run Fast. Eat Slow cookbook.
WEDNESDAY - Hot Dogs
THURSDAY - Chicken Salad
FRIDAY - PIZZA MOVIE NIGHT
SATURDAY - ???
Sometimes we adjust days and swap dinners around depending on how work, school, parents, and the kids are feeling and if other events come up throughout the week. We try to do some simple planning to keep eating meals as stress free as possible. We also have the kids help us pick what they would like to eat so there is less frustration during mealtime.
